As a lover of wildlife and the outdoors, a lot of Danielle's subject matter is inspired by her surroundings, animals she is obsessing over, or she'll just simply improvise and mess around. Her art can be described as whimsical and playful, with an aim to challenge idealism and evoke oxymoronic concepts that combine lighthearted illustrations with underlying or obvious adult themes.

Danielle grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, lived and studied in Toronto, left the country for many years to pursue a life of travel, and currently resides in the Yukon with her partner. She loves snowboarding, hiking, and adventuring, but would also describe herself as a sedentary creature. Danielle hates the cold but is trying to embrace it. Sometimes at night, you can catch Danielle peeping through her window like a house cat hoping to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
